Decisions around the end-of-life in pediatrics are always difficult. They can become even more challenging when there is disagreement about whether palliative care or hospice is appropriate. This webinar will discuss a case that elicited significant distress and disagreement over the appropriateness of palliative care and hospice. The presentation will discuss how to respond to cases where different clinicians view palliative care as inappropriate and discuss a basic ethical framework to analyze facts and values.
